We are suppliers of top quality door furniture, hardware, window fittings and electrical products. We offer a superb range of door handles, door knobs, architectural hardware, switches and sockets in a variety of modern and traditional designs. All the products we sell are manufactured to a very high standard and by only selling online we keep our prices very competitive.

Making a Purchase

Shopping at e-Hardware could not be easier. Use the store section links on the left to go to the section you need, you will then be shown the sub sections in that range. Once you find an item you like you can select how many and place them into your shopping cart by clicking the 'Add To Cart' button, you will briefly be shown the contents of your shopping cart and then returned automatically to the page you were browsing. You can now continue browsing our store and add more items to your cart. At the top of the right hand column you will see a summary of the amount of items in your cart and the total value. You can view the contents of your shopping cart at any time by clicking on the 'View Cart' link. The shopping cart page will show you the items you have selected and allow you to remove items, adjust quantities, continue shopping or go to the 'Checkout'. If you are happy with your selections and want to go to the checkout you can click on the 'Checkout Now' button on the shopping cart or the 'Checkout' link at the top of the right hand column. You will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. You will be given an opportunity to print a summary of your order and you will receive an email confirming your order. You are able to cancel the order at any time during the whole process and we offer a 14-day return policy for your peace of mind (see below for full details).

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Delivery Schedule

We aim to dispatch your order within 1 to 3 working days using Business Post Premier 24 next day parcel delivery. If you wish you can leave special delivery instructions when you go through the checkout process. If you do not leave any special instructions and you are out when the courier arrives they will leave a card and you can pick the package up from the nearest Business Post depot. Some smaller orders may be dispatched using UK Mail.

This is subject to stock availability. There are occasions where demand on certain products outstrips supply, should we be unable to deliver within 14 days we will advise you within the first 7 days of placing your order, with the option to cancel your order or select an alternative product.

There may be rare occasions where the product sent varies slightly from the image shown. Occasionally, if products are out of stock we may source them from different suppliers. If this happens we will always send you a product of an equivalent quality and value.

We will not be liable to you for any loss of profits, administrative inconvenience, disappointment, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem in relation to delivery and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than any refund we make under these conditions. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Back Orders

If a part of your order is out of stock and likely to hold up delivery then we will normally dispatch the bulk of the order and back order the outstanding item, this will then be sent separately as soon as it is available.

Refund/Returns Policy

Goods ordered in error, surplus to requirements or unsuitable may be returned to us within 14 days of receipt on condition that they have not been used or fitted and they are undamaged in the original packaging. This excludes special order or made to measure items. All products in our Light Switches & Sockets section are made to order and therefore classed as 'Special Orders' for the purposes of our returns policy. You will only be refunded your delivery cost if the return is as a result of our error (e.g. a faulty product, or incorrect shipment). If we agree to provide you with a refund we will instruct worldpay to credit your credit card account within 30 days of receipt of the returned product. Goods ordered in error, surplus to requirements or unsuitable will be subject to a 15% handling charge. You may cancel your order at any time prior to the order being dispatched. If you have notified us of a problem with the goods, we will either make good any shortage or non-delivery; replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective upon delivery; or refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question. We will not be liable to you for any loss of profits, administrative inconvenience, disappointment, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem in relation to the goods and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than any refund we make under these conditions.
