The Field Gate Mortice Gate Latch is suitable for use with 5 bar field gates hanging between posts. The Morticed Latch Set allows the gate to open both ways. The Birkdale Gate Latch operates very similarly to a Suffolk Latch fitted to smaller domestic house gates. The Latch is suitable for 3" stiles. The Mortice Latch has a Galvanised finish which is a zinc coating on steel. This prevents corrosion and allows for a longer lasting product.
