These Premium Quality Ratchet Winders come as a pack of 5 in a Galvanised finish, with a stainless steel drive unit. Simple to strain and lock by means of the cam and ratchet system.
These heavy duty winders are used for plain wires, both Mild Steel and High Tensile, up to 5mm thick. Commonly used on the back of square posts, as they have a flat edge to facilitate this.
The Ratchet Winders has a Galvanised finish which is a zinc coating on steel. The cam and ratchet system and the split pin are 316 Satin Stainless Steel which allows the mechanism to last longer due to the increased corrosion resistance over normal Galvanised steel.
