The Carlisle Brass Fire and Smoke Door Seals is supplied in Packs of 5 and is available in Brown and White finishes in 1.05m x 10mm x 4mm and 1.05m x 15mm x 4mm sizes.
The Carlisle Brass Fire and Smoke Door Seals is supplied in Packs of 5 and is available in Brown and White finishes in 1.05m x 10mm x 4mm and 1.05m x 15mm x 4mm sizes. These are designed to close the gap between the fire door and frame in the event of a fire which prevents the spread of smoke and hot gasses. They also provide additional cols smoke protection sealing off the gap around the door and providing a permanent seal to the passage of smoke. The smoke seal also affords additional thermal and acoustic protection. Once these are installed they can lay dormant for many years and only activating when exposed to the rising temperatures and pressures in a fire situation.
