These Coastal DuraTique Curly Tail Door Handle on Backplate are made from a 304 Grade Stainless Steel material which means they are ideal for use where corrosian levels are high, for example; coastal environments. This has been Class 5 Salt Spray tested and has a heavy duty spring cassette for a solid, dual lever action. It has been tested to 200,000 cycles. The handle is suitable for multipoint door locks. It is available in a Textured Matt Black finish. These handles are perfect for doors with a thickness between 44-48mm.

Locks & Latches
Normally a 2.5 inch / 64mm latch or lock or a 3 inch / 76mm latch or lock will be fine.
The length of the latch or lock determines the backset which is the distance from the edge of the door to the centre of the backplate on the door handle where the spindle passes through the door.
The backset on a 64mm latch or lock is approx 45mm and on a 76mm latch or lock is approx 57mm.
