DIN Spec Handles

DIn Spec Door Handles on Backplate

DIN Spec door handles are normally required in commercial environments where doors are prepared in advance to DIN Standard. Care should be taken when selecting door handles that are compatible with DIN locks and latches as they are not British Standard and choosing the wrong handle can cost time and money. Our range includes handles that are compatible with DIN latches, DIN Euro Sash Locks and DIN Bathroom Locks. Should you require any assistance in selecting the correct type door handle for your door please contact our customer service team on 01206 213499.

DIN Spec Door Handles

Interior designers mainly choose DIN locks and handles because of the ascetically pleasing result of the longer lock case, meaning a keyhole cover or lock hole on a DIN handle is located slightly further away from the handle center than on doors fitted with traditional mortice locks. This space difference creates a balanced, contemporary feel whilst also making the lock easy to use by allowing additional room for your hands when using the lock.
