These Elongated Keeps are suitable for 1A or 2A Brenton Padbolts and come in two sizes: 12mm (for 2A bolts) or 16mm (for 1A bolts). The 12mm Elongated Keeps have a 16mm gap to allow for the bolt to be able to pass through the keep and the 16mm Elongated Keeps have a 20mm gap to allow the bolt to pass through. They are available in Zinc Plated or Galvanised finishes. The Galvanised finishes increase weather resistance and can be fitted horizontally or vertically.

The Brenton Padbolt (See Related) is normally fitted to the outside of shed doors, workshops, garages and other outbuildings. It should be used in conjunction with good quality padlock. These Spare Keeps are useful as spares or as a replacement.
The Elongated Keep saves you time by allowing the door to drop slightly and the bolt to keep working without you having to re-fit it.
