This Ludlow Door Handle on Backplate from M Marcus is made from Black Iron and is available in a Black Iron Rustic finish in Lock, Latch, Bathroom and Euro functions. This product is for internal or external doors and is supplied with a spindle and all suitable fixings. It comes in the size; 231mm x 37mm. This style of door handle is perfect for a traditional style of home decor. For new doors you will either need a Tubular latch for a Latchset, Sash Lock for a Lockset, Bathroom Lock for a Bathroom set and Euro Profile Sash Lock for a Euro Set.

Door Handle Types
The Latchset is used on standard internal doors and requires a tubular latch to be fitted in the door.
The Lockset is used on any doors you want to lock with a key and requires a sash lock to be fitted in the door.
The Bathroom Set is used on bathrooms and cloakroom doors and requires a bathroom sash lock to be fitted in the door.
Locks & Latches
Normally a 2.5 inch / 64mm latch or lock or a 3 inch / 76mm latch or lock will be fine.
The length of the latch or lock determines the backset which is the distance from the edge of the door to the centre of the backplate on the door handle where the spindle passes through the door.
The backset on a 64mm latch or lock is approx 45mm and on a 76mm latch or lock is approx 57mm.
