From the Anvil Winkhaus AV2 Heritage Lock

This From the Anvil Winkhaus Heritage Lock is available in Right Hand and Left Hand types. These can be used for replacement period doors and prestige new build doors. The euro profile locking cylinder of AV2 Heritage is located at a similar height to a traditional round cylinder pull but it provides instant higher security as the lock is operated automatically as the door is closed.

This lock is operated with a euro profile cylinder and turn which is located at 2/3 of the door height to replicate a rim locking night latch found on traditional doors. An external door handle is not required to operate the locking points. The lock can be deadlocked or opened externally by turning the key a quarter turn. The door is automatically locked when it is closed from the inside and the key is required to gain entry from the outside.

The automatic locking on closing the door with 2 solid anti pushback hooks which fully penetrate the steel keeps helping to prevent the door and frame being forced a part. One euro cylinder and turn needs to be purchased separately which can be found in the related products section below.
