This fantastic universal Zoo Hardware Overhead Door Closer - Size 2-4 is suitable for use in medium duty locations such as office corridors and living accommodations. It is available in 6 different finishes including; Satin Nickel, Silver, Polished Nickel, Black, Satin Brass and Polished Brass. The Power is size 2-4 variable by valve. It has an adjustable closing speed, adjustable latch action and Backcheck. Backcheck has been tested on the following installations- Door Mount Pull, Door Mount Push and Frame Mount Push- installed with no head projection only. Backcheck has not been tested on Frame Mount Push with head projection. The Backcheck function offers resistance when the door is opened with excessive force which prevents damage to the doors. Backcheck helps prevents the door from slamming open which causes damage to the doors, frame, hardware etc. This door closer is supplied with a semi radiused cover and PA bracket- for inwards and outwards closing doors. 

This Zoo Hardware door closer has an arm set type of Scissor in a steel material. It has a maximum door weight of 80kg for door mount pull and frame mount push and 60kg for door mount push. The maximum door width is 1100mm for door mount pull and frame mount push or 950mm for door mount push. The door closer has a 180° angle of opening. It has been successfully tested in accordance with the requirements of BS EN1154:1997 and is suitable for use on 30, 60, 90 and 120 minute timber fire doors. Fire tested in accordance with the requirements of BS EN1636-1. This is UKCA Marked, CE Marked and Certifire approved.
