These york security bathroom locks are to be use on internal bathroom and cloakroom doors where privacy is required. They have bolt through fixing holes and are supplied with fixings and striker plate. The latch direction can be altered by turn therefore it can be fitted to the left or the right hand size of the door. Suitable for both commercial and non-commercial properties. Available in Antique Brass, Matt Black, Matt Bronze, Polished Brass, Polished Chrome / Polished Nickel, Satin Brass and Satin Nickel / Satin Chrome finishes in 64mm and 76mm.

Locks & Latches

Normally a 2.5 inch / 64mm latch or lock or a 3 inch / 76mm latch or lock will be fine.

The length of the latch or lock determines the backset which is the distance from the edge of the door to the centre of the backplate on the door handle where the spindle passes through the door.

The backset on a 64mm latch or lock is approx 45mm and on a 76mm latch or lock is approx 57mm.
